After Floyd Mayweather’s expected but less than spectacular win over a blown-out legitimate super featherweight Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand several days ago, people have been salivating at the prospect of seeing Manny Pacquiao go against Mayweather to place an exclamation point on the Filipino idol’s legacy in boxing.

“This is what people want to see”, someone said. “Boxing needs it to happen”, another stated.
