Is Koncz providing wrong sparmates for Pacquiao?

The decision to bring in 35 year old Mexican and welterweight Jose Luis Castillo to Bagiuo, Philippines is a puzzling move, and appears to be disturbingly counter-productive to Manny Pacquiao's training regimen. But who made this decision on behalf of the interests of the Filipino superstar? Was it Team Pacquiao, Freddie Roach, or advisor Michael Koncz? There is speculation that it was the latter.

In an article posted as early as September 13 on the Boston Herald, Roach expressed his displeasure in the uselessness of Castillo as a sparring partner for his famous friend and client: "Why would I use Castillo? I can’t use a shot fighter to get Manny ready for Cotto?" Allegedly, Koncz also appeared to have attempted to provide an inappropriate sparmate for the Ricky Hatton fight by way of a super middleweight fighter nearly 30 pounds heavier than Manny...
